DTN Market Headlines
Corn futures are expected to open 4 to 5 higher as of 7:15 a.m. CST; soybeans steady to 1 lower; wheat 1 to 2 lower (Chi).
The lean hog pit should start out moderately higher based upon greater packer spending in the country and ideas of tighter than expected winter supplies. Cattle futures seem set to open on a mixed basis as traders jockey ahead of cash news and the release of the annual herd inventory.
